Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3 Reviewed

Laptop Mag has reviewed the Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3 (non tablet version) and overall it seems to be quite good (excellent keyboard much like that seen on the ThinkPad X100e and powerful Dolby speakers, though the weakest aspect is the buttonless touchpad, which like on the Dell Mini 10, was erratic and the integrated buttons were stiff. Battery life also wasn’t as good as expected: the 6-cell battery lasted 6 hours, 55 minutes, several hours behind the new Dell Mini 10 and ASUS Eee PC 1001P for example. Oh, and like on the Lenovo IdeaPad U150, the battery does bulge out downwards though it is hidden

Slim Meets High-Speed: Sony’s DSC-TX1 And DSC-WX1

Sony today announced two new Cyber-shot cameras (DSC-TX1 and DSC-WX1) which, owing to their “Exmor R” back illuminated CMOS sensor technology, provide twice the sensitivity of cameras with traditional image sensors. This provides drastically improved low-light performance and results in cleaner images with less noise.
